Impressive that you could visualize this beforehand and know that it would make a compelling image after stitching.
Andy Kämpf  Thank you Andreas!
Glad you like it...

and yes you are right it tooks a lot of experience and try and error to have a idea how the final stitched foto may look like... :)

Very impressive work, Andy, wonderfuly done, like it a lot!
Andy Kämpf  Thank you so much Codrin! Makes me really happy you lik it... It seems that i have more luck with my panoramic stuff than with portraits.. It's a long time ago that i get a foto published her on OE.

I get tons of stuff like that... ;-)

I have no clue about PTgui and such, but this is most impressive. Difficult to get my mind around this, and that's the fun as well:) Beautiful image.
Andy Kämpf  Thank you Andre!
I'm doing Panoramic stuff since 10 years and it was a long way to come around and produce pictures like this, especially when you see the whole scene in 360° you have no chance to crop or recompose afterwards especially for the interactive quicktime vr version. And of course it's always like a birth of a new picture and thats really fun, cause it's very hard to imagine how it would louk like as final stitched image.

All the best
Andy
Andre du Plessis  I can only imagine! Many thanks for the answer, Andre

I want to see it in 3D! Beautiful, inspiring and nauseating at the same time...I'm getting dizzy!

Come on, now, you moved at least one chair just a bit, didn't you? or did some obsessive-compulsive neat freak arrange the chairs?

Really good work here.
Andy Kämpf  Hello King, thank you for your nice words! To kind from you..

and i didn't moved a chair ;-)
I'll guess there is working a neat freak :D

You can see it in 3D! Just folow this link:

This is so cool (I linked to it on my Facebook page to hopefully introduce family and friends who have never seen anything like this before). I love the depth of detail, and the subtleties of the different tones to the sheen of the velvet chair seats on the right compared to the left. With an image like this you really "feel" being there!
Andy Kämpf  Thank you so much Ed! Your words are very nice and i feel honored about it. If like to see more stuff like that check this site:

Great Panorama! Did you stitch with PTgui?

Robert
Andy Kämpf  Thank you Robert! Yes it's stitched with PTgui and remapped to Mercator Projection.
