You appear to know what you are doing.
Alexandre Buisse  I am getting better at creating that illusion, yes :)

Like an Ansel Adams image ! Bravo!
Alexandre Buisse  I certainly wouldn't go that far, but thanks for the compliment nonetheless!

wonderful photo! i have been to Cordillera Blanca in June this year and made a long nice trek! I really loved that mountains and definitely in two years time we will go to Huayhuash! I have just forwarded your picture to my friends which did not join me this summer...so that they see what's coming....:)
Alexandre Buisse  Well, we have been in Huaraz at the same time, then (June 2nd to 14th for me), too bad I didn't know about it earlier!
Mihnea Turcu  would have been a honor for me!! I've been there starting the 10th of June.

an excellent panorama.
regards, egon
Alexandre Buisse  Thanks kregon. It is a crop of a single image, though, not a stitched panorama.

Beautiful photo Alexandre.
There is a calm feeling to it and it also reminds me about travelling.
And by the way it's impressive that you can take a photo at 34 mm with a 70-300 lens :-)
Alexandre Buisse  Wooops, I knew I should have checked the exif instead of trusting my memory...
I agree about the calm feeling, which is quite ironic when you consider that it was taken from a speeding jeep on a rocky track, not exactly a quiet and peaceful thing :)

Glad to see it here Alex, even with my reservations about it... ;-)

It's a mountain scene so it has to be published!!

:)
JP
Alexandre Buisse  Hehe, thanks for the wholehearted support :) I tried to explain that mountain = instapublish to the others in crew, but it seems they didn't quite get it.
