from what i read and see from your images Codrin you are a very deep person with a big soul that feels at one when surrounded by mother nature well i can;t fault you for that:) superb image that shows us you dont need a $5,000 camera and lens to capture beauty you just need the vision which you have an abundance of.Bravo Codrin and have a great day.

I tell you something! Right now i be back from the Forrest. The whole day i am creeping on my knees, got dirty, itching everywhere from all the bugs surrounding and fighting me. Im frozen much now! I look at all my pictures from today and i am disappointed. Its not that what i wane have. So i open my computer and see your picture. What is what i see? You just made it! So i need go back creeping in the Forrest:-)

Codrin Lupei Robert, thank you so much for your thoughts...well, I understand this, I'll tell you my way of doing this...just enjoy your walk, the forrest smell, light, wind...and if it is an image that has to be taken it will be, if not...not. Are so many times when I just walk, and wander...and even if I have the camera with me, I don't press the shutter, sometimes I don't even open the bag, sometimes I'm looking through the viewfinder but I don't press the shutter, and so on...probably the most important things are those moments, if are or not images captured is less important, at least from my point of view! Robert Yes you so right! But i always put pressure on my self to have at least one good shot. But my hurting knees and back just teach me this lesson! I should enjoy at first!!

Andre du Plessis I think that i should buy an affodable point and shoot, which lies flat in my pocket and is just always there..
Somehoww when you carry the big equipment your mind says that you have to go home with something, and as you said, the mood is not always there. Like sometimes when you have to go to a social event, and you really just want to stay at home - sometimes those evenings turn into the best. Better to have that unobtrusive back-up, so just in case you enjoy the environment and can click if you wish, without having the prior self expectations. Thesedays those compacts can do such amazing work. I enjoyed your momentary flip from black and heavy to white and light.

Codrin Lupei Well Andre, the equipment I carry around is not very big, I mean the D200 with the 18-200 or with the lensbaby is not quite hard to have it on my shoulder, and for sure it not makes me feel that I have to go home with something...sometimes they just enjoy to be out there with me without taking any picture at all :) Thanks so much for your reply, always a pleasure to read your words! Although I don't understand much, to me the image feels significant. I put it in favorites because I'll get back to it and try to learn.
Must admit that I'm getting more and more interested in that lensbaby I know nothing about.

Codrin Lupei Thank you very much Ivan, well, not always understanding is the most important part in a photograph, much more counts, from my point of view, what makes you feel...Lensbaby is one of my favorite lenses, but this is because I love blur and those kind of dreamlike images...but for sure it worth to try one, you could have a lot of fun using it...
