CUTOUT

This is from the basement of the Phaeno Science Museum in Wolfsburg, designed by Zaha Hadid.
Just 6.00 am in the morning, the sun was looking around the corner creating these strips of light on the asphalt.
The surrounding was very dark and I had, as usual, no tripod with me.
Therefore I had to work with an aperture of 2.8 and high ISO which made the foreground unfortunately a bit blurry :-(

Aah this is so well see Thomas! Such a simple scene - I will walk right past this, and yet so striking when reproduced here.
I tried your type of work this last weekend in Paris, and realised how difficult architecture can be. However, had fun, never mind the snapshots.

I love the contemporary mood and feeling of this photograph and am happy that it was published. It's also encouraging an early wake-up, which means that I'll probably never make such a photo.
