Beautiful. Interesting work with the light. It is a little incongruous with the subject matter, but that is precisely what makes this such a compelling shot.

Amy Hopp Thank you so much, Martin. This one was all about textures and light. I always use window light, and pears are a common theme with me. I think they are beautiful aesthetically, with their textures and curves. I realize they are photographed quite a bit, but I always try to place a different spin on them. I'm so glad you approve of this one!

It was easy to give it the "Green Light" in screening.

Lovely balance compositionally, tonaly and strong graphic lines (which I like) that are balanced by the "soft" pears.

I like it!
