I like how there's no explicit horizon in this picture; the point where the bird's legs enter the water, along with the ripples, end up forming a "horizon".

I like that the bird appears to be looking at its own reflection. Its beak being vertical, and between its legs, works for me.

I like the oval shape of its body, and its head.
