I think of course of Magritte, but that won't surprise you. It's not just the surreality; it's also the deadpan flatness of the image ... I mean 'flatness' in a good way:-) I'm not usually very interested in extensively manipulated photos, but this is superb. Bravo!

Just look at the transition from the trunk to the handgrip, it looks very edited.

I had luck this time!!

Willy Marthinussen nope..skill. :) Its not easy to understand rejections many times..i know ;)and its not that easy to screen the vast amount of images that are beeing submitted. There are a lot to think about for screeners, i know i used to be one;) the hardest part i think is to carefully reject good stuff, if there is many similar photos..one have to subjectively choose the ones one think is the best...sigh.. but ultimately this selective process will lead to a better overall quality on 1x..i believe. And to ansver your comment on photos beeing long in screening, it can take up to a week or so if the photos are hard to judge. there is often long discussions within the crew discussing photos before landing on a decition..so each photo will have a fair treatment.... :) but hey, i know its hard to understand when your photo is beeing misunderstood....belive me on that ;)
