I love love love love this photography. It says YES to life and that is a good feeling. Although there are just shadows, you can imagine the facial expression of the two childrens. It's great. I love it.

Why category documentary?

battymaddie I had no idea what category to put it into. I looked at the picture and decided to put it into documentary because it tells a story, but if I were to do it again, I would have chosen a different category.

Very sweet and well taken. Congratulations for getting your shot published and may you publish many more.
But, sorry to say this, is it really a 1X shot?
Now I'm seriously confused.

George Yes I really miss the B/W conversion and vignette... Not!

JBA ;-) Kind of re-enforces my point. There are a lot more 'arty' b/w conversions and vignettes on here than sunsets with cute kids. Hence my confusion. Especially when kids and sunsets are mentioned in the 'what pictures aren't published on 1X' FAQ.
Not dissing the image or you, Maddie, not my cup of tea but I am thrilled for you, I am the reject king! just trying to get a handle on what screeners want to see, and I'm obviously not getting it.
