I see that your pictures are always better. Especially the balance in the ompositie are very beautiful. I think this site is an additional source of inspiration for the creative photographer .. there are beautiful specimens between. A place with opportunities to shoot out of this world photo's, photo's like this one.

The old tree trunk was placed on a good place in the photo, according to the rule of thirds, leaving enough room for the buetifull landscape surrounding the trunk.

Very nice light lit's up the scene, making it look like an scene from a far away place the federation is exploring, to baldly go were.....

I was further put down.
I had that afternoon while the weather was gloomy with a lot of wind gusts later a sun, I quickly used.
I had never photographed sand waves and was also surprised that it was successful. I quickly adjusted my shutter speed and good luck!
I was lucky the wind from the side, because I'm still cautious for the camera with all the sand.

This is on the park De Hoge Veluwe Melis.

I knew the existence of the stem, but I never knew where, we were yesterday and searched. First asked by the visitorsentrum of course. I was lucky that there is still a sun came yesterday and the wind of course, since I was glad. I had never raised sand photographed. And I was lucky!

I'll take a look when I'm around there. Some other nice stems are at Kootwijkerzand at (I used Google Earth to search the coordinates): 52°10'24.91"N, 5°47'47.89"O. I've got some pictures of them but only just arrived at 1x. Maybe I'll find the time and get them accepted. Have to work a bit on them, though.
