Dhaulagiri
Cropped, highlights and shadows altered. Composition changed for foreground interest.

Dhaulagiri is the mountain in view... The seventh highest in the world. An impressive and iconic peak that stands out among others.

very nice one! would you be so kind to explain how you have measured the exposure here? also tripod, F stop, ISO and time?
thank you, Mihnea
Stefan Bingham  Thank you so much!
It was a while ago but I think I sat the camera on a fence post, focused on the trees with an aperture of around f/12. ISO was always low if I could help it.

Hope this helps

Think I saw this in critique? anyway this is much improved Stefan I reckon, it's now a well balanced shot that immediately draws the eye into the mountain then you fan out to appreciate it's surroundings.

Gorgeous landscape, Stefan. Which peak is it?
The sky looks a bit too pushed, especially in the right part which seems to have some banding.
Stefan 'Valdor' Bingham  Thank you very much Alexandre! It's Dhaulagiri, the seventh highest in the world! This was taken closer to Annapurna. An impressive range of mountains, but I was lacking is decent glass at the time! The sky is a little pushed yes, the dark foreground caused me to darken the sky a little too much, resulting in a little noise! Boo (I blame my lens!)
Alexandre Buisse  ...adds another entry to the ever growing list of mountains to climb someday...

For the sky, can you maybe use a layer mask to reduce the processing on that bit of sky, or run an aggressive denoising filter? Since there aren't too many details in it, I think you can kill that noise without too much damage (but it's of course worth the effort only if you're going to print it).
