The bridge, from where you have taken the photo, is build from iron. So it was really dangerous to be there during the thunderstorm. I lived in Frankfurt for about 20 years and I know this place very well :-)

I admire your patience, I would probably have given up after 20 minutes :-) It's an awsome image since it is not fake. I don't know where the other lightnings hit but one is certainly going down in the antenna of the building in the centre. I know the force of a lightning strike so, for me, this image has a tremendous power in it. Congrats to a really powerful image. Sometimes its worth waiting.
