A real white Christmas in one of the coldest cities in China, and the most distant city from any ocean in the world. The snow started falling outside, which meant I stayed up till 6 in the morning photographing what happens on the first major snowfall of the season. This man was the first person I saw get up to go and make sure the footpaths were safe for the early morning workers.
