i liked this elisabeth too the wonderful play of light & the richly detailed reflection & your braveness to post this in bnw. though i would have cropped out the right side black negative space since it adds nothing if indeed stops you lingering longer on the left hand objects.
Elisabeth Gustafson  Thanx gerard for your honest comment! I see your point, but i kind of wanted the feel of the stone pier pointing out in endlessness. Therefore i composed it like this. I wanted to create something that the mind could ask it self of what lays ahed.. I have shoots that is like you suggested, but to me, it felt to confined. Thanx again!

This is the landscaping along the edge of your swimming pool? This looks like an arrowhead aimed at the right side of the frame. Did you consider enticing a little duck to swim in the area to the right?

Elisabeth Gustafson  Thank you King! Unfortunately the ducks had left the building for warmer parts of the world.. I had an eagle hovering above, but no matter how i jelled at it, it wouldn't dive for a fish or sit at the rocks in this frame! :O)) Next time!
