great shot, with enough light HDR is not neccessary.
it's not symetrically cause either you where not in the center or ths cam showed a little to the left. the mirroring of the ceiling line turns left a little down and the table ends on the picture frame a little left down. with a perspektivic correction and cropping you could fix this

best regards
Reinhard

i instantly liked this because of the ingenuity in it. i have used a piano in southwark cathedral in a similar fashion (so i am bound to say). i must go there considering i am only 10 minutes away by boat! its funny these places are on our doorstep & we (some of us) rarely make the advantage count!
Steve Charles  Gerard you are right, we so often seek out the exotic when there is plenty to photograph locally. I grew up in Blackheath & Greenwich and spent a big chunk of my childhood in Greenwich Park, but had never been into the RNC until the day I took this.

wow Steve; bit surprised to see your name under it. Really impressive though.
The place looks just like my living room (except that we usually have the dirty laundry rack on the lhs, and we put up a giant tv-screen on top of the door over them old paintings :-) )
Steve Charles  Hey Koen, this is actually my bathroom ;) I think you would be surprised at a lot of what I do, what you've seen of mine elsewhere lately has been quite random, a lot of experiments with film, that sort of thing. I'm not sure a lot of it would get on here, and I've been going through my back catalogue looking for shots I think might suit this place more.

Beautiful,is that water that is reflecting the image??
Steve Charles  Thanks Clyde, it's actually a sort of trolley / table on wheels, with a dark mirrored top. It's not very big, but with a very wide lens resting on it it almost fills the bottom half of the frame. Probably wouldn't even have used it if tripods had been allowed in...
Clyde Beamer  Bravo!! The foreground feels huge, well done.
