Sandy Powers Thank you so much Thomas! I was so amazed to capture her in this photo because she would just as soon eat mounds of liver as pose for a photo :) I think that's why it means so much to me -- because it is so real and unposed :)

I gave this one a "no go" in the screening, because I'd rather have it in colours, but I fully understand why other people voted for it. It's a great shot.

Sandy Powers Thank you Kristian. You know. . .I'm one of the last holdovers of people who actually prefer color photogrpahy over black and white. It's rare that I will like a black and white photo better than the color version. But in this case -- the tones -- try as I might to change it -- were a bit too yellowish, so it really does look better in black and white. I promise. Thank you for your comment!
