I love this screener's choice feature - there are photos just deserving a second life. Glad to have seen this.
Mal Smart  thank you Balazs. I saw some kids throwing this bottle around earlier in the day then found it later in this position. I took a couple of shots then tried to re-compose the bottle in various other positions, none of which worked very well lol. Thank you. mal

Hi Mal I really love this shot, would you mind me asking where you learned to use photoshop? I really don't feel like I'm getting the best out of my shots at the moment and need to improve my post processing but i don't know the best way to go about it. Any advice would be great! thanks, tom
Mal Smart  Hi Tom. I'm not really the best one to ask about PS work, I really only do basic still like adjusting levels and contrast. However, send me a mail to discuss any particular point that I might be able to help. mal

Richard Ford  I've pretty much given up on it and have put my d300 up for sale..... I just can't get good tones or lighting..... plus I also don't like to dither about... I like to shoot and move on. Maybe I am just lazy, I know I have it in me - somewhere....

I saw it on your HP and I was like "WOW"..
Not sure actually what attracts me so much in this shot.. definitely great work, Mr. Smart ;)
Mal Smart  lol - I'm the same Daria, I can't quite work out what I like about it. I took 7 or 8 shots with different F stops, this one was the first that I took, I think that it is just a very simple image, just a bottle on a beach, nothing more and that's what I like about it. Cheers Daria. mal

Mal Smart  you are right Ilja, I almost never shot anything under F11, this really was an experiment with the 200mm lens at close range, I took about 7-8 shots from F2.8 - F18, and I just loved the simplicity of this one, just a bottle and a beach. cheers my friend. pal
