Gorgeous, Martin. Was this really a time exposure taken by starlight? I suppose it could be although it is more likely that the light is flowing over the horizon from some city or town and diffused through the fog.

it was a pretty "strange" and unusual setting, the sky was starlit and clear, with a crystal-clear almost full-moon.

The light from behind the mountain, is actually the moon.

However, this time of the year it hardly gets dark at night, which is the reason for the fast shutter-speed.
