Ursula I Abresch Homage to Vernon. I was trying to learn split toning look from his pictures. I never did figure it out - he was going to make a tutorial or something, but it didn't quite work out.

Quite delicate and beautiful. Did you get wet, lying there on the ground? I see in your OE profile que es de Argentina. I've have been to Buenos Aires many times. It's one of my favorite cities.

Ursula I Abresch Thank you, King. Si, naci en la Argentina, en la provincia de Misiones, pero me crie en Valparaiso, Chile. Volvi a la Argentina, a Buenos Aires, cuando era jovencita, y de alli me mude al norte, y en el norte me quede.

Y si, un parte de mi corazon sigue llorando por las cosas, la gente y los lugares que deje, y muchas veces, en especial cuando estoy cansada, le digo a mi esposo, quiero volver a casa. Sueno que algun dia pueda volver, al menos para visitar por un tiempito. Pero por ahora no nos ha sido posible.

Cual ciudad es mi favorita? Dificil de decir. Creo que si tuviera que elegir una sola ciudad, seria Valparaiso/Vina (estan juntitas las dos). Tambien hay muchos lugares tanto en Chile como en la Argentina que nunca tuve la oportunidad de conocer, y que me gustaria muchisimo poder llegar a conocer. Lugares como el desierto the Atacama, la zona de Salta y Jujuy, la costa sur tanto de Chile como de la Argentina, la zona de los Andes en el sur, Mendoza.

Thomas Ljungberg So your favorite is Valparaiso and Vina del Mar? Thats kind of neet, I lived a couple of years in Vina del Mar as a child, I was 10 when our family moved back to Sweden. I was known to speak spanish like a chilean, fast and intense. Most of that is gone now since I don't use the language here at all, but I understand some of it in writing. I should take up that language again... or get one of those keyboards...

Ursula I Abresch Thank you, Don. No, we're having a long winter in BC. It's been raining, and almost snowing, not as bad as in Calgary, but it's not been nice. This is from 2 years ago, in June. I'm often way behind on processing images, and then it's sometimes fun to go back and revisit older images.

Ursula I Abresch Thank you, Codrin. That's a great compliment. I'm very glad you like it. It is one of my own personal favourites, I made the picture two years ago, but the treatment is new. I'm not really fully satisfied with it, but it's a beginning.

Tracy Martin I think that it is a fine attempt, goodness know that he can do this with his damn eyes closed (can you say photoshop actions, click a button and presto!) :-)
