A recognize my self in your portrait Anna! In a wintersday, those wrist support are a necessary..
This photo makes me think of protection, protect one self from external things, but also a fight, to fight off internal pain of some sort. Strong and visual.

Anna Lepke Well observed. As i said it is 12 years ago. Diagnosis: rheumatism. What a drag! But fortunately I don't die from that! :) I had to give up a few things, like sports. And instead i had to find replacements, like singing. I never gave up taking pictures.
