I just look at this portrait now the second time and i cannot keep away from it. It have so much intensiveness. So much emotional! I have the impression you are very week but strong in your love an feelings. Your eyes looking through me. I really really like it so much!

I get the same feeling as i got in the screening but i cant remember the words that i wrote there! So clean, so "naked" so honest, a sincere capture of a thought, a feeling a state of mind.. LOVE it Emily!

You have so many ways of expressing yourself, you keep on suprising. And what Angela says is so true, the longing in your eyes is so deep. I guess it is the slightly lifted eyebrows that does this.
The feeling really comes through and touches the viewer.

composition and motiv are very good.
regarding PP: if you try to do less light dodging in the eyes
and do some masking (or mid-tone dodging 15%) on the lips, so the black is not so dominant, then the portrait is more balanced. try it out, Emiliy.

nice stuff, nonetheless. :)

perhaps mask 60% the black of your pullover too :-)
