The set up for this shot was quite simple. It's a ball from a fountain (you know the kind that sits in bubbling water and spins). I placed it on a large piece of colored cardboard and painted the light with a flashlight (long exposure). Processing was minimal: color adjustments, gaussian blur, a little dodge/burn.
