This is really, really original...
Technicaly perfect too.

S J Carter Wow - thank you for the very kind words Laurence. We had an amazing ice storm that covered everything in about 1" of ice. I spent hours rolling around in it (on my stomach, back, side, etc.) trying to get just the right shots. Luckily, I was able to have some nice hot chocolate afterward! :-)

Laurence Garçon What I can imagine too.. is your face in front of your screen when you have discovered "Orion" and the other constellations ;-) Wooo... what a great moment of emotion ;-)

S J Carter Well it wasn't a difficult leap to see that all of these sparkles were reminiscent of stars or heavenly bodies - especially when you got down close to them. I must admit though, that I didn't "see" the Orion parallel until after downloading the shots from the camera. You're right, I was pretty stoked when I realized that this particular shot looked like a bow & arrow. :-)

I was just trying to capture as many unique shapes and forms of the ice as possible, while making sure that I maintained the magical bokeh that only light on ice/water can provide.
