Funny facial expression. What optics did you use? Just wondering because I have a a soviet Zenith E lying around that was used to take many important photos of my family back in the days. It doesn't work completely, so I'm thinking about fixing it.

Mal Smart a standard 50mm factory lens. I only dusted it off to see if it still worked, I'm quite pleased with it. mal

Leonid Danielsen Cool, I got two of those that I brought along with the body from Russia last year. You must have mastered the camera perfectly because our old family photos have a horrible quality compared to this (but then again grandpa developed them in his bathtub :P).

Mal Smart lol - that bath tub adds character to your images! lol.

I just have to have this in my 'FACES'. Why? A portrait of the grand master,that's why. The man, from who I have learned different things. For example: 'life's a piece of shit when you look at it, ... but, always look at the bright side of life!' or 'with studio lights you look even better'.
Ok, enough with the crap, here's a guy who helped me showing how to get a mood into a pic!
BTW You're coming Febr. or when Spring is coming our way

Mal, I know you now..I like this portrait, because there is something spontaneous, not to much prepared, not shaved, no smile.. just an expression.. and a stare..
