amongst the most perfect pictures i have ever seen. The golden ambience with the fog and mist and amazing overall geometry of the image make it a viewing delight. Congratulation on such a wonderful picture!

Love the whole tone of this image. The yellowish tint with the varying levels of silhouette, slopes and cloud/mist is really powerful yet at the same time gentle and soothing. A masterful take on light and dark that really lets nature show itself off without being in-your-face and overpowering. Nicely done Dave.

Isn't is amazing how the simplicity of nature can be so breathtaking? This is superb. Reminds me of a friend's art project once. She tore paper and overlapped it to create hills. This is the real thing and you captured it in such a terrific way. The light and dark. WOW It would make an excellent print.

I knew I recognized this. When I lived in the Sequoias I tried many many times in vain to capture the "11 Ranges" view at sunset but the air quality can be TERRIBLE there, killing visibility. This is a fantastic and very lucky capture David! I'm jealous!
