My passion for photography began with my Nikon D80 in june 2008.
As a former student of architecture at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts I already had an interest in architecture when I started doing photography. The combination of these two major interests turned out to be perfect for me. I've actually changed my perception of the city in ways I wouldn't dream of before june 2008.
When I'm riding my bike through the city every day I hardly notice what's going on because I'm too busy finding motifs: Reflections, angles, compositions, facial expressions, urban scenarios, people in motion, light, smoke etc. Buildings that I used to consider uninteresting or maybe even ugly suddenly have potential.
So as you can see I am hooked on architectural photography:-)
I am also very much into macro pictures ever since I bought my macro lens. I find it very difficult but also very relaxing and entertaining.
I visit 1X at least once a day (when possible), and I find a lot of inspiration here.
