I became interested in photography about 10 years ago when my father passed his Nikkormat FT down to me which I took with me while travelling. I changed to digital a few years ago which I found gave me the freedom to experiment. Now Ive fallen in love with photography and spend too much time on it instead of working. I recently purchased a second-hand EOS 1 to get back into film again. When I do manage to work, I apply myself to studying a PhD which is examining vegetation change in the eastern parts of South Africa in relation to climate change.
