About me

Im a retired advertising photographer in Dallas, Texas. Photography is a life-long love, although I didnt get serious about it until my mid-20s.

Before making photography my full-time profession, I was a member of the Boston Ballet company, hence the many dance images on my website. As a working photographer I was (for two years) president of the Dallas Chapter of the American Society of Media Professionals (ASMP) which at that time was called the American Society of Magazine Photographers. After working in photography for about 20 years, I went back to school to get a graduate degree.

Photography is now a hobby (for the first time) and working on my website and my archives is a very enjoyable pastime. Although my work has received a few awards, Ive never entered a photo competition. Im honored to name among my friends a number of 1X.com contributors.
