I've been shooting since I was 5, and very seriously since 1973.

I love to see things. I love wild colors, and try to get myself places when and where they happen. The presentation photo above, for instance, only was able to be made, without filters, after Mt Pinatuba exploded in the Phillipines in the early 1990s. It spewed so much dust in the air that we had magenta post-sunsets for a month.

It is beauty which drives me to shoot.
