a friend of mine passed me this link today. I can't believe what's coming. Mindblowing, truly revolutionary.
If Adobe used their team for espionage they would be more dangerous than the CIA

Can't view youttube at work but I think it's the one with the amazing new transormation features,
the new warp funktions with the control points is really impressive!

Adobe asked me to implement a 1X button in PS. It will turn any picture into one that will be accepted here on 1X.

Agreed, but completely unnecessary. I can't wait to see the price! :)

Thanks for that one Nicolas! I was just about to upgrade to CS4, lots of money for a few functions I want..
Normally the upgrade will be the same price and working for a few versions back. Then.. this might be some extended version they are showing. Adobe is not known for giving things away..
But, lots are complaining about prices on Ps. The same ones easily buy a lens they can use for some specific photos, and complain about a program they can use on all their photos..

I don't really need all the fancy stuff they showed in the youtube, but I do want a real 64 bits version and more non destructive editing

i also got the same feeling Rui, i'm totally with you on that one but then it all comes down to the photographer, right? I'm not a big fan of "lying" and invent new photos out of my photos...but that's me.

On the other hand Photoshop is mainly a graphic designers and image editing tool, photography is just one of its thousand uses. I as an architect have used it for many years for collages, 3d renders, compositing, texturing, painting, etc. We need all these tools, they are amazing. I wish I had had them at uni!!

Awe...don't worry Adobe will not make a better goat than you! And I love your goats.
Yet..imagine your goats can now become lions, tigers, and your village people will be surprised to see themselves with an elephant. But not to worry..stick with the goats.

Id say that this is just as mindblowing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uyxDBRnuL3s&feature=related , but alsp a bit unsettling. The last example is amazing, but its gonna make things a lot harder for legit photogs if it works.
