Max aperture value
Posted 2 years ago
Hello all, I have CANON EOS 40D. At the exif of the photos i can't see the parameter "MAX APERTURE VALUE" . If some one will tell me how to make it seen, it will help me very much. Thank you.

You mean in camera or in Bridge or Photoshop

In camera.

I really don't understand. How or why would you want to see exif data "in camera"? While you are shooting? Just look on the barrel of the lens, most of them have it printed there. Or I suspect I am missing something...

Hello Mr. Beamer. Maybe i did not explaned my self very well. I wont to see this parameter at the exif in photoshop but i believe that i have to do something in camera so i can see it at the exif.

Do you use Canon lenses? Try another lens and see if it works. You sholdn't need to do anything in the settings. It might be a communication problem with the lens. (but then the cam should also struggle to get things right)

I use Canon & Sigma lenses, and it is not work. I'v checkd all the communications and thay are intact.
