angle view finder

Hello there,
i wane open a small topic and asking if you have similar experience as i have make.

When I go out for street photography I mostly use my 50 mm lens. I make street only with an angle view finder which creates a more better perspective as the camera is not on the level of my eyes.
Have you try it? And what you think of this?

I have one for doing landscapes when I want to position the camera real low to the ground but I've only used it a few times and actually much prefer to lie on the ground and frame an image than use the angle view finder, I just find it unnecessary really for my style.

I like to get down and dirty, immerse myself into the scene.

I use what's called an angled knee and back... achieves the same effect. ;-)

I guess this is also the attraction of waist level view finders. Most common on TLR's, but the older Nikons, up to F4 I think could have the prism swapped out for a waist level finder...

Indeed, I sometime removed the prism of my F3 for that purpose (now it is in retirement though in good order, it's a wonderful camera)
