Six years ago I bought my first digital camera – a Canon Powershot S50 – and suddenly I experienced the old happiness, taking pictures and once again I had the opportunity process and edit the pictures.

After a further four years I finally made the big leap and bought myself a digital SLR camera and what a difference it makes. The camera is so much better and I'm now able to take much better pictures

My equipment today is a Nikon D80 which I bought in a kit with an AF-S 18-135 mm and because I'm still an amateur have started up withe Photoshop Element 5.0.
