Forget what you have learned it may be of used to somebody else I am looking at art that sees itself in its own existence. Photography is a science firstly , then it became a historical tool and then it became a farce and a joke being mistrusted and contrary to its impermeable past. There was a point when painting challenged photography to show us heaven and the depths of hell and photography lost, after all it had boundaries , photography was not like painting. These days photography has gone digital finally kicking its old analogue ancestor almost to death . We now have images of the tiny and almost immutable and the gigantic and almost unfathomable .
I understand that people take this art form and science very seriously and it takes years to master. Simply this and nothing more I will say on photography. If you have been to my webpage - I have many old works there taken on all forms of amateur devices, I suppose wow is a product of sublime here at one exposure. I also have my own opinions on photography, art and masters of their works. I talked with a portrait photographer on lighting whos works on1x look like Rembrandts moodily lit visages. He said the lighting in my piece was all wrong. Now to call the kettle black Rembrandt was told the same almost 300 years ago . I am of the opinion I know what I am talking about as much as a person that is emulating lighting effects that were frowned upon and now are the norm. Dont get me wrong I love his work , Rembrandt was one of the greatest artist that ever lived . I am Paul I love to argue . Hope one day you will get to see an image from me on here .

To say I am a pure photographer would be misleading but to say I dont understand the product of photography would be a folly to some extent.
