I have loved photography, especially nature photography, since I was a child. However, budgetary constraints affected my career as a young photographer, and I went on with an old camera and a 50 mm for two decades, taking pictures only occasionally.
My true photographic tour started 12 years ago at 35, when my second son arrived and economic restraints were relaxing. I bought my first Nikon, a wide-angle and a tele-zoom and started documenting my children and family life, and the lights on the sea that I see from my window during weekends.

In the last years 1x has been my main source of inspiration. All the great photographers published here showed me where passion, artistic vision and technique can lead, and helped me to push the envelope. I like the peer-review system and have learned a lot from my rejections.

In daily life, I am a professor of business law and a practicing lawyer.
