Karman lives in an isolated village in the hills of Western Gujarat. Every morning you can hear him calling “Nilesh Bhai, Nilesh Bhai” which roughly translates “Hey, Mr Nilesh”. A small boy emerges from inside the house, he is Nilesh - Karman’s youngest son. The father uses a rope and old grain bags to make swings in the doorway of his house. As Nilesh swings back and forth, Karman makes his morning ‘chai’ and drinks it out the front of his stone-and-mud house.
