The shy Hieroglypyc Hawkfish (Cirrhitus rivulatus) is the largest species of the hawkfish family. I was very lucky that I could capture this exceptional eye.

wondeful detailed shot respect for your work
Norbert Probst  Thank you very much Peter. It's just a beginning :-)
Peter Kemp  I know yuor work being a fanatic scuba diver before
Norbert Probst  And today you are a fanatic photographer? I like your work with its own stile too. I prepare for a trip to Indonesia. After that I will have a look arround here.
Peter Kemp  Yes I like the studio photography ... it replaces my drawing and a bit of diving. Still dive in Sudan now and then ... although haven' t been there last 2 years and love the Brothers and the Red Sea Marina Parks ( have a look at my site www.redsea-diving.info)
Wishing you a great trip to Indonesia Happy bubbles and looking forward to your new work

grtz peter
Norbert Probst  I'm a totally spontanious photographer. That's what you need, if you are a wildlife underwater photographer.
I dive the Red Sea since 1980 and I've been in Sudan too. First time on the Brother was arround 1988, when Rudi Kneip startet his first trips to this remarkable place with a 10m fisherboat (without cabins and toilet).
Your website is very informative for all people, who like to go to Egypt and Sudan. I found some information I did'nt know untill today :-)
I don't like very much to stay in these countrys. My way is straight from the airport on a dive ship out of the sea.
In WWW I am very present. If you like, just google my name.
Thank you for your best wishes. Have a good time.
Cheers, Norbert
