It doesn't really do the trick for me. I see some weird sharpness and softness here and there that distract me from the portrait. The hair, chin and cheeks especially seem strange. I think you've captured a great moment, but it was either on high ISO and recovering the image from noise created the problem, or that the editing in general didn't really suit the mood.
