Schitterend! Het is nu eenmaal zo in de natuur. De cirkel moet rond blijven natuurlijk.

Schitterende de scherptediepte!

Ik ben jaloers op je objectief hoor! Hihihihihi....

Harry Eggens  Wederom hartelijk dank Jeannette.

Heb dat objectief inmiddels 2 jaar geleden verkocht en daarvoor in de plaats een 200-400 VR aangeschaft :-)

A fantastic shot thats not seen very ofton in todays hi tech world.
People have grown so far away from nature and what goes on in the wild.
Your work is always a pleasure to view.
It all boils down to the survival of the fittest in the wild and this is a magnificent bird.

Regards Richard
Harry Eggens  Thanks a lot for your great comment Richard.

You are totally right. Most people don't even know what nature means. I myself live in a town also and except for a few smaller bird and a rabbit now and again, there's not much to see around here. That's why I'm going out there 3 times a year and try to get as many impressions as I can and make some nice shots. After such I can go on living in town for a few months before I have to go out there again.

Have a great weekend.

Wonderful shot, Harry !
Great how the wind is "lifting" the feathers !
The beak on such a fellar are just so big ;-))
Congrats !

Regards

Henrik
Harry Eggens  Thanks a lot Henrik.

It was a windy day indeed and I myself also like that little detail, the feathers blowing apart by the strong wind, in a picture like this.

In this case it's the lady of the house you see here :-)
Later on I will try to get an image through screening in which both the male, who really is a lot smaller, and the female are on the prey.

Have a great weekend.

Regards, Harry
Henrik Just  "are just so big"

IS just so big ;-))
Excuse my bad english, Harry ! ;-))
Harry Eggens  I do forgive you :)
You don't ant to know how bad my English is Henrik :-)

Mother Nature at its best, Harry. Did the eagle kill the deer or was it already dead? Great capture of a magnificent bird and exceptional moment
Harry Eggens  Thanks a lot Daniel.

The Roe Deer was a road kill and not killed by the Eagle itself.
As far as I know the White-tailed are not strong enough to make a kill like this by themselves.
An Eagle that can do such is the Golden http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xAsXtDKdU0Q

Have a great weekend.
