This is one of the best shots i've ever seen from you Daniel. So simple, and at the same time so great! Like a giant bridge and i keep looking after really small, tiny skaters passing under the bridge.
Daniel Hasselberg  Tack Fredrik!!! Thx a lot lovely to hear!

Very nice perspective and composition. I really relate to your comment "Some days nature is very generous...". There are times when I see something beautiful and I feel priveleged to be in the right place to witness and photograph it.
Don
Daniel Hasselberg  Yes Don, some days its a privilege to have this hobby!

Well, I thought you *had* to get wet and I was being sympathetic. If you want the shot, you do what you have to do. I've always known that.

Thanks for the link...very enlightening. :>)

What a beautiful example of nature's sculpture and you did it perfect justice with this image! I love your perspective!
Daniel Hasselberg  Thank you Jan!
This is the result of something I don't do every time I am out there...
I just hold the camera with out looking in to it 1 cm over the water...
and.. well, some time you get lucky..!

Thx again Jan!

"Some days nature is very generous"

It sure is, but you still need the eye and skill to capture what it provides, which you obviously have. Great shot, love the feeling of it being huge.

Fabulous.
Daniel Hasselberg  Thank you Jeremy for your nice words! You make me very pleased! :-)
Very interesting image. Really looks like a scary creature. Awesome.
Daniel Hasselberg  Thank you so much Angela! :-) Glad to here that you like it!

Very nice, Daniel!
I left a comment in screening as well, something very short and clear, just like the sentence above ;)
I love the angle here, it really looks like a beast (scandinavian type ;))
Daniel Hasselberg  Thank you so much Daria! I appreciated it very much!! :-)

"Beautifully done! Really like the beast here! What could be better is a little less excessive sharpening in the area where the ice touches the water. One of those borderline cases, but I'll still vote yes (Is this one yours, Peter?)"

Na, its not Peter :-) But thank you so much who ever you are
for voting for the photo! Al the best! /Daniel
Michael Jakesz  That was me, sorry my mistake - mind you, the mistaking you for Peter De Smidt, not the voting yes :))
Congratulations! Glad this one made it!
All the best
Michael
Daniel Hasselberg  Thank you Michael!
