Mark, this is an outstanding image! I wonder how it would look in color, I bet it's outstanding that way as well.

Mark Kitaoka Scott, thank you. The shot is striking in color, but for me the element of color detracts from his expression. For me, facial shots are all about the expression. I want his feeling to grab me, hence I converted it to black and white. Thanks again.

Mark Kitaoka Anne, thank you. I was drawn to this balloon vendor while spending Father's Day with my two teenage children. He smiled while interacting with the young children, yet his eyes seemed very sad. So I waited until he was no longer waiting on kids and snapped this iamge.
