Andre..just finished watching the film True Git - and then opened the FP to see these two boys here. Eyes always tell the story. Even they these boys are clearly quite young, yet they both appear to me to possess that fierce determination..not unlike some of the characters in the film I just saw. A big congratulations - a frame filled with yet another SA family. Phyllis

Just come in from outside - we've had wonderful sunny weather here, of late. These two have a "sunny side" in their souls too, no doubt. Well done on giving your picture the right treatment to show the "bond" between these two brothers.

Andre du Plessis These two kids will grow up to do anything between plumbing and flower arrangement. They tested life at an early stage, was challenged by it, and can only emanate from this challenges years with a determination. Thus i put the two together, because the seemed a team.
Then again, with the job situation down there, who knows, it might be not quite as rosy as i see this.

Andre du Plessis Hi Jacob.There is little that appeals and more for me than to have two or more in my frame. The possibilities on interaction and 'non-interaction' are countless, especially more so in the people that I photograph in SA. There is always
a frame wort keeping ....:)

Andre du Plessis Thank you Marei. I thought that a year might be a long enough wait to submit a picture of two subjects that have previously made my PF. However, in this picture there is that willingness to go to battle - a sentiment that I so relate to. Boys talk and Blood brothers stuff. I am glad to see this here, as i thought that the arrangement of their faces might stretch my chances of publication.

Andre du Plessis Hi Chris. These two are ready to roll:) However, I managed to catch them in their bedroom the previous day, and there they are projected differently. I am always blown away by how natural these people are in front of a camera. I believe that the lack of opportunity of precisely that have not allowed for the plastic smiles that we have sometimes all to struggle with. They take these photo sessions really seriously, as they are not quite the norm.
