I`v never seen the heaven like that before.
Did it realy look like that?
-Amazing!
Winston Setiawan  To the naked eyes, no color, just thin gray. If the sky is clear and dark, however, you can still see the MW through the viewfinder. Fortunately digital sensors are much more sensitive than our eyes :) Thanks for looking.

I like it, the night sky has always had a special appeal to me. Just a question on a detail, if I may ask, how come the reflection of the rock isn't toward the observer? It's weird for my eyes, did you modify perspective or something ?
Winston Setiawan  I used 14-24 lens, at around 19mm, and I tilted up the lens to capture more of the sky, that's the effect of perspective distortion. thanks.
Fabio Giannelli  thanks for the explanation!

Hello
When I voted for this in screening I added the comment: "Is this for real?" because I didn't think one could take such powerful pictures of the milkyway with an ordinary camera. Now I have seen your other picture and understand how it's possible.
It's fantastic and truly disturbing how pollution is strong enough to cover this amazing reality.
Very well captured!
Regards
Dan
Winston Setiawan  Thanks, Dan. Actually any cameras with reasonably low noise can capture the MW. It's just a matter of the site's darkness and weather :)
