Starling Services
Starlings are often drawn to prominent man made structures. This particular tower sits on top of a motorway service station and acts as a beacon drawing the birds in from the surround lowlands. As winter afternoons fade into evening hundreds of smaller flocks unite and dance around the tower before finally settling in the surrounding trees.

Nice color, sharpness and interesting building! It would have been a winner even without that cloud of birds!
