This man worked, or perhaps owned, one of the countless food stands along the side of the road between Manila and Taal Volcano. He sold coconuts, as the title suggests, but also the usual collection of mangoes, pineapples, bananas, etc. While we were there buying coconuts from another member of his family, he sat and ate his lunch, affording me an opportunity to get a shot out the car window. I took this photo last winter, on a month-long trip to the Philippines to visit my girlfriend's extended family.
