Congratulations on a publication well deserved.
Sometimes I think the crew screeners are like the Sphinx, they talk in riddles. Maybe all rejections without reason are such riddles we have to solve. We try to guess what they want by re-uploading our photos. And their "yes" is publication.

Loved it in color too, but this looks much more vintage and classic.

I think you are so right in this point. They just force you to think in a non violent manner. It is one of the essences of 1x.
This was actually meant to become a bw before I took it, but for some reason I uploaded it in color. I guess I just could not find the right bw settings for this one, but now I'm quite pleased with the result myself and I am glad I did upload it in the previous version as it gave me the opportunity to learn something and make it even better.
