Just terrific. Love the juxtaposed men.
Mark Kitaoka  Thanks Judy, it is indeed an example of juxtapose, which is one of my favorite storytelling aspects when I'm able to execute it.

Now this one I really like. Nicely seen Mark. I love how the figure in the billboard seems to be looking right at you while the person in the window is oblivious... Cheers!
Mark Kitaoka  Thanks Philip,
The billboard is actually for an AIDS organization in SF, so I'm certain that the ad agency used a shot where the young man is looking at YOU, which is very observant of you. I have two others where the man in the window is actually smiling at me or in a more ominous posture further into his apartment in a great shadow. But I opted for this one since the mystery of what he is so intent on seeing adds to the story of the image. I can see a similarity to your own work here:

Thanks again Philip
Philip LePage  Hmmm... forgot about that one. I also have something similar in a different location. Very interested in these and looking forward to what you do next.
Now how in the world did you manage to get this? Really great!
Mark Kitaoka  There was so much going on that day I just knew people would be looking out of their windows! And when I saw this billboard painted on the side of this apartment building I looked up and saw the open window. So I waited, hoping someone would be there to look out. And imagine how excited I was when this guy came to the window with his binoculars to spy on the crowd! Wow, I was thrilled.

Good to see this here. I feel watched!
Mark Kitaoka  I had to wait patiently to grab this shot. He was in and out of that window and I knew that I'd never get a scene like this again. Thanks Martin.
