very very beautiful Mark. The view point has given the image a slightly fly on the wall feel, as if she was completely unaware of your presence coupled with her dreamy pose has given a wonderful atmosphere to the shot. mal
Mark Kitaoka  Mal, you know Tracy and you also know how genuine she is. Like I comment down below, it seems that whenever we go out of town, we do these shoots. It often happens the same way, we are happy to be out of town and we are both anticipating exploring our new venue the next day. One of my little habits is to get my camera out and just play with it taking silly shots around the room or out the window. Invariably my lens moves to Tracy and we playfully begin the 'photographer' shooting her toes, her nostrils, etc. Silly stuff. She laughs, I laugh and then things get a bit more quiet. In a way I think it relaxes both of us and perhaps that is why this image may indeed feel like we're all a fly on the wall as we view it. The mood is natural and trusting.

Thanks my friend.
Angela Bacon-Kidwell  Reading this gave me goose bumps!

Delicate and moody!
Mark Kitaoka  Thank you Alberto. Delicate is an adjective that I didn't think about, but certainly describes her mood very well indeed.

Brilliant shot, sir! :)
I love the DoF and the "free and happy" mood in this..
Great, mister! :)
Mark Kitaoka  Hey there Mr. Ilja, thank you. The dof is something that I really enjoy about this image of Tracy too. That lens is just phenomenal and adds so much mood to an image. It's just a beast to control...the lens, not Tracy!

This is great Mark! Wonderful light. Intimate, relaxed and sensual. I like the position of the hands. It adds to the depth and composition of the image as well as to the relaxed mood. But most of all it makes her vulnerable and fragile, showing trust for you and the viewer...
I'm not sure I got the wordings correct, I find it hard to explain my feelings for this piece. But I like it very much. A type av picture I have tried to catch myself, but not succeeded with.
/Thomas
Mark Kitaoka  Thomas, you must know that I always appreciate a comment that articulates the details of why an individual appreciates a piece of my work. Thank you for being so articulate. I find that I learn the most from comments which relay the specific reasons why the viewer likes or dislikes an image. Much appreciated.

A moment of plenitude..., superb work Mark, Fernand
Mark Kitaoka  Thanks for taking the time to comment on this image Fernand. Plenitude is a word I seldom hear and it is certainly a kind compliment, thank you.
Fernand Hick  Mark, in French, we use the term plenitude to say totally relaxed, giving up, very happy. The pose, closed eyes, little smile, the half open hands, all these elements give me the feeling of a moment of plenitude.
Cheers, Fernand
Mark Kitaoka  Fernand, thanks for explaining how the term is used in your part of the world. I can now see why and how you meant to use the term and my sincere thanks.

Beautiful image Mark. I love the quiet mood this reflects. Nice DOF.
Mark Kitaoka  Jennifer, thank you. It seems that whenever Tracy and I go out of town, a mood comes over both of us to photograph her. Interesting...
