Again - superb! This is such a simple idea that it's pure genius!
The result is so so wonderful - flowing and full of life and mystery - I can only say - as I think I have only said once before - wow - I wish I'd thought of this one...!!!

Ah, there you are. Cliff diving in Acapulco on a rainy day? Is that a crack in your windshield that frames the diver? The crack is one of my favorite parts of this photo...it forms the cliff, the horizon, and resembles a map. The diver is entering an unknown world. Maybe it isn't a windshield. Doesn't matter. Excellent work.

Angela Bacon-Kidwell King, Yes, windshield. The crack is from the morning dew running down the window. The background is the outline of my house roof. Thank you very much.

Angela Bacon-Kidwell Thanks, Anna. Honestly it was not an idea. I saw this texture on my window and to me it looked like a cliff. Early that day I felt I had pushed myself off a cliff (emotionally speaking) so I put a fiqure on the window and shot. That is it. So, this was an quick emotional release. Thanks

When I first saw this in screening I thought that it was concrete with the cracks in it and drops of water on it. It is only now that I see how wrong I was and yet it is what each of us sees in your imagery that makes it so special.

I see when i look at the photo, in its story and feel, that it has a lot of layers.. they dont have to be visual.. I saw the crack, then behind it i say that diving person, and i saw those raindrops, like a curtain.. Layers.. in a human, selfe inflicted like a shelter, that we all use in our lifes..

Still loking forward to that milion layers shoot though! :O))

Humans like to add layers... Loads of them.. Maybee to try and hide there true intent.. Peal them off and you find the one layer that is the essence of your beeing.. the one that makes you dare to plummet in to life and accept who you are.. for real..

We all keep façades, but they all got cracks, and if you are intersested for real in another human, you can see beyond these cracks and see the true essence of that person..

STRONG photo Angela, with all those layers, layers that i feel i want to peal of to get close to that diving person.. Maybee he´s diving in to something worth while..
