Great macro! Tells a good story about this spider and how they carry it's eggs. Wonderful composition and very nice b/w treatment.

Probably one of the best b/w macros I've ever seen! just excellent :)
And I think it's the b/w choice that makes it especially good.
jimmy hoffman  You made my day,Daria!I thought I would be the only one who liked this shot.
Thanks!

Technicaly quite perfect, but why you made it B&W ?
jimmy hoffman  Thanks,Timor Tom!
When I submitted this picture I prefered the B&W version, but at the moment maybe I think the coloured one is better.I'm not sure...
Cheers,
Jim
Timor Tom  I think for this kind of work colour is the right choice, it is a macro after all. You don't have to set any mood and the colours of nature seen so up close are usualy dazzling. Good luck with future captures.
jimmy hoffman  Thanks,I think in most cases you're right. But in this case both the colours of the stone and the spider were rather drab(and not so dazzling as you mentioned) and that made me decide to choose B&W.As you can see,the rest of my uploaded pictures are in colour!
Good luck to you too!
Timor Tom  Yes, I've seen your collection of macros, you good.
