this is awesome!! great job for sure!!

i was wondering have u use any filter for this?? because i've no idea how did you get the orange light.. was it sunrise?? please reply this.. great work dude!!!
Roblex  Usually astrophotographers have trouble *getting rid* of orange glows because light pollution from nearby towns is also orange :-)
Kaspars Kurcens  Thanks!
No filters used. Orange light is from sunset, sun went down only 2 hours before i took this picture.
Aditya Hendra  well.. thanks for the enlightenment.. it's really nice of you.. i still admiring your picture so much.. mm.. do you use ISO 3200 in purpose? because i think at ISO that high you'll get so much grain/noise.. or in 5D that's won't be a problem??
Kaspars Kurcens  I wanted stars to be still, so my exposure limit was 30 seconds, ISO 3200 in purpose to get as much light as possible in that time. Noise in 5D mkII is not a big problem, minimal noise reduction and it`s ok ;)
Aditya Hendra  okay thanx mate.. i'm looking forward for your next big things!! :)

Very cool shot!

If this only a 30 seconds exposure, was it also visible for human eyes?

Kaspars Kurcens  Thanks!
Yes, it`s visible for human eyes, but not so strong. Sensor of the camera gets more light in 30s than eyes.
andreas612  ok, thanks for your reply :)

I could look hours on it! Seeing all the stars and seeing dimension it shows me clear how small we are in the universe! How fragile! Awesome picture!
